KB4493509 update causes 0x800f0982 error on some Windows 10 machines

According to Microsoft, installing the KB4493509 update on Windows 10 computers with some Asian language packs installed results in 0x800f0982 error. Microsoft is currently working on a fix and will provide an update in an upcoming release. Describing the issue, Microsoft said:

"After installing KB4493509, devices with some Asian language packs installed may receive the error, "0x800f0982 - PSFX_E_MATCHING_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND."

How to fix 0x800f0982 error after installing KB4493509 update

Affected Windows 10 users can uninstall and reinstall any recently added language packs:

Select the Start button
Go to Settings > Time & Language > Language
Select the language you want to remove > Click Remove.
Go back to Settings > Time & Language > Language
Choose a language from the Add a language list
Select Download from the Download language pack option
After the language pack is installed, select Back
Choose a language from the Windows display language menu.
